Overview

Each clip on the clips page has a Clip actions menu (⋮) with Star, Rename, Duplicate, and Delete.

Rename A Clip

  1. Click ⋮ on the clip and choose Rename.
  2. Type the new title and save.
The clip title is also used as the default title when you publish the clip.

Duplicate A Clip

Duplicating makes a copy of a clip so you can try a different edit, for example another caption style or orientation, without changing the original.
  1. Click ⋮ on the clip and choose Duplicate.
  2. The copy appears in the clip list with Clip duplicated successfully.

Duplicate Limits

  • The counter next to Duplicate shows how many copies you’ve made of that clip and the maximum allowed, for example 0/3.
  • A project can have up to 10 duplicated clips in total. Delete a duplicate to make room for another.
  • You can’t duplicate a duplicate. Duplicate the original clip instead.
  • You can’t duplicate a clip while it’s exporting. Wait for the export to finish.
If you see Upgrade plan to duplicate clips, duplicating isn’t included in your current plan.

Delete A Clip

  1. Click ⋮ on the clip and choose Delete.
  2. Confirm. You’ll see Clip deleted.
Deleting a clip is permanent and can’t be undone. You can’t delete a clip while it’s exporting.

Star A Clip

Choose Star from the menu, or click the star icon on the clip, to mark it as a favourite. Filter by Starred to find it later. See Review Your Clips.
