Style Settings
Font
- Family: choose a font, or add your own with Add new font.
- Weight and size: make captions bolder and bigger or lighter and smaller.
- Color: the main text color.
Max Words
Sets the most words that appear on screen at once. Fewer words (2–4) give a punchy, word-by-word feel. More words read like traditional subtitles.Stroke
Switch on Stroke to add an outline around each letter. Choose the outline color and set its Thickness. A dark stroke keeps light text readable on busy backgrounds.Shadow
Switch on Shadow and choose Low, Medium, or High to add depth behind the text.Highlight, Box, And Background
Depending on the preset, you can also set:- Highlight: the color used for highlighted words.
- Box effect: a colored box behind the active word.
- Background: a background behind the whole caption line.
Animations
Tips
- Keep animations subtle on talking-head clips so they don’t distract from the speaker.
- If your language needs special characters, pick a font that supports them.
- To reuse a style on every project, save it in a brand template. See How to create a Brand template.
