Overview
A custom thumbnail is the image people see before your clip plays. Use the Thumbnail panel in the editor to upload an image and set it on your clip. Reap places the thumbnail at the very start of the clip.Add A Thumbnail

Remove Or Replace A Thumbnail
- To remove the thumbnail from this clip, open Edit thumbnail and click Remove thumbnail. You’ll see Thumbnail removed from this clip.
- To replace it, remove the current thumbnail, then pick a different image.
- To delete an image from your thumbnail library, click ⋮ on it and choose Delete asset.
Tips
- Use an image with the same aspect ratio as your clip, for example 9:16 for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, so it isn’t cropped.
- Bold text and a clear face usually make the strongest thumbnails.
