# Sign In To Reap

> Sign in with a one-time email code, a magic link, your password, or your Google account.

## Overview

Reap gives you four ways to sign in. By default, Reap sends a one-time code to your email address, so you don't need a password. You can also use a magic link, a password you've set, or your Google account.

| Method | When to use it |
| - | - |
| **Email code** | The default. Reap emails you a code each time you sign in. |
| **Magic link** | You'd rather click a link in your email than type a code. |
| **Password** | You've set a password and want to sign in without checking your email. |
| **Google** | Your Reap account uses the same email as your Google account. |

## Sign In With An Email Code

    Go to [app.reap.video](https://app.reap.video).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your email">
    Type your email address under **Your email**. Tick **Remember me** if you're on your own device.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Request the code">
    Click **Sign in**. Reap sends a code to your email address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the code">
    Type the code under **Enter code** and click **Continue**.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  If the code doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. You can request a new one once the **Resend code** timer finishes.

## Sign In With A Magic Link

On the code screen, click **Try magic link instead**. Reap emails you a sign-in link. Open the email and click the link to sign in.

## Sign In With A Password

    Enter your email and password, then click **Sign in**.

Password sign-in only works after you've set a password. To set one, or if you've forgotten yours, see [Set Or Change Your Password](/help-center/set-or-change-your-password).

## Sign In With Google

Click **Sign in with Google** and choose your Google account. Use the Google account that has the same email address as your Reap account.

## Create A New Account

If you don't have an account yet, click **Create account** on the sign-in page. Enter your name and email, then verify your email with the code Reap sends you.

## Troubleshooting

* **The code never arrives.** Check spam and promotions folders, then click **Resend code** after the timer ends.
* **You see an empty workspace.** You may have signed in with a different email. Sign out from the avatar menu in the top right and sign in with the email you used before.
* **Password sign-in fails.** Use **Forgot password?** on the password screen to get a reset link.
* **Still stuck?** Email [hello@reap.video](mailto:hello@reap.video) from the address on your account.
