# How to Use Text Presets

> Add ready-made text styles like Modern Title, Neon Future, and Glassmorphic, then customize the font, colors, and animation.

## Overview

The **Text** panel in the editor includes styled text presets, so you can add a polished title or callout in one click and then change the words, font, colors, and animation.

## Available Presets

| **Neon Future** | Electric & Bold |
| **Avant-Garde** | Fashion Forward |
| **Glassmorphic** | Modern Transparency |

## Add A Text Preset

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Text panel">
    In the editor, click **Text** in the right sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a preset">
    Click the preset you want. It's added to your clip as a new text layer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Change the words">
    Select the text layer and replace the placeholder with your own text.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Position and time it">
    Drag the text on the canvas to position it, and drag its edges on the timeline to set when it appears and disappears.
  </Step>

## Customize The Text

Select the text layer to open its settings:

* **Typography**: change the **Font Family** and **Alignment**.
* **Colors**: set the **Text Color** and **Highlight** color. Color settings aren't available for gradient text styles.
* **Enter Animation** and **Exit Animation**: choose how the text appears and leaves, for example **No motion**, **Opacity in / out**, **From the left**, **From the bottom**, **Grow from center**, **Elastic pop**, **3D tilt on X axis**, **Quick rotate**, **Digital shimmer**, **Masked reveal**, or **Soft drift in**.

  To use your own font, upload it to the **Fonts** tab of the [Asset Library](/help-center/asset-library) or your brand template. It then appears in the font list.
