# How to Add a Voiceover

> Record your own voiceover with your microphone, or generate one from text with AI voice, from the Voiceover panel.

> **For AI agents:** a documentation index is at [/llms.txt](/llms.txt). Every page is also available as markdown, just append `.md` to the URL.

## Overview

The **Voiceover** panel in the editor gives you two ways to add narration to a clip:

* **Record**: record your own voice with your microphone while the clip plays.
* **AI voice**: type what you want said and Reap generates the speech.
