# Find And Replace Across The Transcript

> Fix a word everywhere it appears, highlight every mention, add the same emoji to every match, or remove all gaps at once.

> **For AI agents:** a documentation index is at [/llms.txt](/llms.txt). Every page is also available as markdown, just append `.md` to the URL.

## Overview

If a name, brand, or term is transcribed wrong throughout your clip, you don't have to fix it word by word. **Find** in the transcript panel can correct, highlight, or add an emoji to every match at once.

To fix a single word, see [How to find and correct the words in captions](/help-center/how-to-find-and-correct-the-words-in-captions).

## Tips

* Search for the shortest unique part of a word to catch every variation.
* Play the clip after **Remove all gaps** to make sure the pacing still feels natural. Use **Undo** (⌘Z or Ctrl+Z) if it's too tight.
